How do i connect my Tplink RE450 range extender with spectrum router?

In such case you need to plug in your extender near by the router under 10 feet

After that connect any device with the extender network

Then open any browser and type at the very top of the screen ip address that is 192.168.0.254

Now you are on the login page

Then you need to follow the step that is given on the screen

your extender is configured

Plug in your Tplink extender to the wall socket and try to connect your computer or smartphone with the TP Link’s network. Open any browser and go to address 192.168.0.254  you will be at the setup page of the extender. Create your login password , it will search for wifi networks automatically and from there you need to select your Spectrum Router’s network and hit next and then type the wifi password of your main wifi network and hit next. Now you can confirm the extended network settings and then hit save.

Once your extender is configured then you can easily connect your wireless devices with the extender’s network.

• Turn On your Tplink extender
• Connect your computer or smartphone with the Extender’s network
• Now open your browser and type this address:- 192.168.0.254
• it will take you to the setup page of the extender
• create your login password and after that, it will search for wifi networks and from there you need to select your Spectrum Router’s network and hit next
• then enter the wifi password of your main wifi network and hit next
• After that, you can confirm the extended network settings and then hit save.
  once your extender is configured after that you can connect your wireless devices with the extender’s network.

first connect the TP link Extender with power,then use Ethernet cable to connect the range extender with main router.Now open the TP link set up page 192.168.1.1 on the computer.login with user name and password.follow the instruction.
