How do i connect my brand new Linksys RE6300 Range extender with Hugenet Wifi?
To setup Linksys RE6300 range extender with Hugenet WIFI , First we need to plug in the extender to the power near to the router just for initial setup.Reset the extender if any changes have been made before.Now connect any wireless or wired devices with the extender's network. Now open 192.168.1.1 or extender.linksys.com on the browser.When you see the setup wizard on the page , follow the instructions you see on the screen to complete the setup of the extender.You can also change the network name or the password of the extender.once it's done then save the settings and let the extender reboot.when you see the solid light on the extender , it means the extender is setup and you can connect the devices now.
To setup Linksys RE6300 range extender follow these steps:-
>Plug in the range extender into the wall socket near to your HughesNet router for the initial setup.
*If you made any change on the extender before, then reset the extender by pressing reset button for at least 30 seconds.
>Connect any of your wireless devices with Linksys extender wireless network.
>Open any browser and in the address bar type http://192.168.1.1 or http://extender.linksys.com
>Now you will see the setup wizard in the page, follow the instructions to setup the range extender.
>If you want you can change the name of extended network and password of your choice that you want for it.
>Now save the settings and range extender will reboot after saving the settings.
>Once extender lights get solid connect your devices to the extended network and try to go online so that we can check that extender setup done successfully.
You can follow these steps to setup your Linksys RE6300 Range Extender:-
- Place the Linksys range extender nearby to your home router and power it on for the initial setup.
- Press the WPS button on your extender and hold it down for 3-5 seconds.
- Within the 1-minute press WPS button on your home router.
- Wait for the extender lights get stable and now try to connect any of your wireless devices with the extended network.
*If you want to connect your range extender with 5GHz network then repeat the same steps once again.
