To connect the hp office jet pro 8720 printer with the wifi , first we need to connect the printer with the computer using USB cable and computer should be connecting with the router's network.Download the printer's drivers from the website (http://123.hp.com). Open and run the file that you downloaded and follow the instruction coming on screen to finish the setup.After completing the installation , unplug the USB cable .Now try printing something to check if the printer is connected.

In order to setup hp office jet pro 8720  printer follow below-mentioned instructions:

  1. Connect the printer's USB cable to your computer and make sure that the computer is connected to your router's wifi.
  2. Download the printer drivers from http://123.hp.com
  3. Run that downloaded file from the website and follow onscreen instructions mentioned in the setup steps.
  4. Once the installation steps got completed then unplug the USB cable from the computer and try to print something so that we can make sure that wireless setup done successfully.

Steps to connect the hp office jet pro 8720 printer with the wifi:-

  • From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Wireless icon.
  • Touch the Setup icon.
  • Touch Wireless Settings, and then touch Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • Touch the name of your network in the list of available networks, and then touch OK.
  • If the list does not contain your network name, touch Enter New Network Name, and then follow the on-screen instructions to enter your network name.
  • If prompted, type the WEP or WPA key (network password), and then touch Done.
    A summary screen displays. Touch OK to return to the home screen.
