How do i change the wifi password for Arris SBG6580 Router, just have wireless laptop?

• connect your laptop or Desktop  with the arris router’s wifi network .
• Open any browser and type the address 192.168.1.1
• Type login details ( Default login Username is ( admin ) and password is ( password )
• Once you are successfully logged in, then go to the wireless Option  and click on the wifi settings and then change wifi name or password and Clink on save .
• Now connect your laptop and other devices with the new wifi name or password .

Connect your laptop to Arris router's wifi, if in case you even don't know the password then press and hold down the WPS button on the router for 2 seconds and after that your laptop will be able to connect to the wifi.

Open the web browser and type http://192.168.0.1 and type your username and password (default username is admin and password is password)

Now choose the wireless option and over there you will be able to change the wifi name and password for your router.

For changing the password of arris router you need toconnect your leptop to te wifi of the arris router.

then open any browser and type 192.168.0.1 on the long address bar to login in the arris router.

you can change the password on the login page of the arris router.

• and from there you can change your wifi password and then save the settings
• after that reconnect your laptop with the new wifi password.

Steps to change the wifi password for Arris SBG6580 Router:-

• First you have to connect your laptop with the Arris  network.
• Open a web browser, In the address bar, type: 192.168.0.1.
• Enter Username: admin & Password: motorola.
• After login, Click the Wireless menu and then click on Primary Network Settings.
• Change the Passphrase to the password you would like to use to connect to you WiFi network.
• Click Apply to save your changes.
