would like to change password of my WNDR3400v2. Cannot log in.

- Connect your computer with the Netgear router's network.
- Open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.1 or https://routerlogin.net
- It will take you to the login page.
- Enter your login information(default username is admin and password is the password).
- Once you are logged in, then click on the wireless tab
- From there, you can change your wifi information for your Netgear router.

To access the router page for your NETGEAR WNDR3400V2.
first make sure you are connected on the router either on wifi or with an ethernet cable.
then you need to open routerlogin.net or using the ip address 192.168.1.1
if the page opens up,you will see a prompt where you need to enter the username – admin and password – password.
if still the page is not opening up follow this guide to reset and setup the router again–
1.first step is to reset the router so grab a paper clip and hold it in the reset hole of the router and then release it after 30 seconds you will see that the power light is orange now so after the power light is green then follow the seconds step.
2.Connect a Ethernet cable from modem to your router’s WAN port.
3.Connect another cable from router to computer .
4.Now open your browser and type in the address bar http://routerlogin.net .
5.Select ‘Help me Choose’ and follow the instructions on the screen.
6.Once your setup is completed remove the ethernet from computer.
TO ACCESS YOUR NETGEAR WNDR3400V2-2 ROUTER YOU NEED TO CHECK FEW THINGS.
1. THE DEVICE ON WHICH YOU ARE TRYING TO ACCESS YOUR ROUTER SHOULD BE CONNECTED TO YOUR ROUTER NETWORK.
2. THE PASSWORD YOU ARE ENTERING TO ACCESS YOUR ROUTER SHOULD BE CORRECTLY TYPED.
3. YOU MIGHT FORGOT THE PASSWORD .
IF YOU FORGO THE PASSWORD YOU NEED TO RESET YOUR ROUTER TO FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS AND RE SETUP IT .
to re setup your router kindly follow these steps:-
You need to plug in a cable from your existing modem to internet port of your router.
after connecting this cable connect a cable from port no-4 of your router to your computer. then follow these steps:
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password .
6. that will open a setup wizard for you so follow the steps and you are good to go.
7. while following the setup wizard kindly make sure the settings you are choosing is correct
i.e time zone and wireless network name and key.
8. kindly upgrade the router firmware as well if there is any update pending over there.
if problem still persists you can reset your router and follow the same steps.
