- Turn On your Amped range extender
- Connect your computer or smartphone with the extender’s wifi network
- Now open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.240 or https://setup.ampedwireless.com
- It will take you to the amped extender’s setup page
- Now follow the setup instructions on the screen and complete the setup
- once the setup is complete then you can connect your wireless devices with the extended network.

- once the setup is complete then you can connect your wireless devices with the extended network.
Or we can setup amped extender through the wps option
For that we need to press and hold the wps button from the extender for 3 seconds and then within 2 minutes press and hold the wps button for 3 seconds from the main router.
once you see the stable light on the extender ,it means that extender is configured.
(Note:- For the wps method ,make sure your extender is plugged in within 10 ft from the main router just for initial setup)
Amped Range Extender:-
1. Place the Amped range extender nearby to your home router and power it on for the initial setup.( Make Sure it is plugged in with wall socket).
2.Press the WPS button on your extender and hold it down for 3-5 seconds ,Within 1 minute press WPS button on your home router.
3 Wait for some time . if the extender lights get stable then try to connect any of your wireless devices with the extended network by using router password.
Then you good to go.
To setup amped range extender follow these steps:-
>Plugin the amped range extender near to your home router for the initial setup.
*If you made any change on the extender before, then reset the extender by pressing reset pin hole for at least 30 seconds.
>Connect any one of your wireless devices with the amped wireless network.
>Open any browser and in the address bar type 192.168.1.240 or http://setup.ampedwireless.com
>Now you will see the SCAN button on the page, click on it and after that it will scan the wireless networks nearby to it.
>From the list select network that you want to extend and then enter password for the same.
>In the next step if you want you can change the name of extended network and password of your choice that you want for it.
>Now save the settings and range extender will reboot after saving the settings.
>Once extender lights get solid connect your devices to the extended network and try to go online so that we can check that extender setup done successfully.
