You can configure it easily way
plug in the extender in power shocket near to router
then press wps button on the router for atleast 3 sec.
than wait till the light get stable on the extender
when it get stable setup complete

You can configure it easily with help of WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)button.
First plug the powerline extender into the wall near your router.
Than press the WPS button on the router after that press the WPS button on the extender,
than LEDS will start blinking on the extender when the LEDS are solid configuration is complete.
Extender will share the same SSID & Password as of the router.
