How to setup a Netgear Router R7800 AC3600 With an Arris Modem.
>Connect your Modem to the internet port of the NETGEAR router and your computer to any of the four LAN ports.
>Switch the computer, router, and broadband/cable modem, off and on again. Wait for them all to finish booting up.
>Open a web browser and type the router's IP address which would be either http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar and press Enter.
>You are prompted to log into the router.
>The default username is admin and the default password is password.
>If the default username and password is not working, you might have changed the password. >Please try your passwords that you might have changed to.
>Click Setup Wizard.
>The Setup Wizard screen displays.
>Select Yes and click Next & Next
>The setup is done if you want you can change the other settings and save the settings at last.
You can follow these steps to setup your Netgear R7800 router:-
*If You made any kind of changes press the reset button of the router for 30 seconds while it's powered on.
-Connect the ethernet cable between your cable modem's ethernet port to Asus router's Internet port.
-Now you need to wait for the router lights to get stable.
-Once the lights get stable connect any one of the wired or wireless devices with your router.
-Open the Web browser and at the long address bar type http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
-After completion of setup reboot your router and then after the lights get stable try to go online so that we come to know router setup done correctly.
