How do i upgrade the firmware of Asus router manually?






In such case first you need to connect any of your device with the asus network then open any browser and type at the very top of the screen ip address 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.50.1 and hit enter now you are on the login page type your administration credential and hit sign in once you are in click on the administration and you need to check there is any firmware update available or not if yes you need to download the new firmware and update it.

To upgrade the firmware of Asus router manually go to ASUS website: http://www.asus.com/support/ from there  go to the configuration page of the ASUS wireless router by typing the IP address 192.168.1.1. From there click on Administration and then Click on Firmware Upgrade and then Click on choose file option.  Select the latest firmware option and Click upload. Firmware installation will begin automatically.

>You need to download the the latest firmware from asus support site.

>Now you should go to the configuration page of the ASUS wireless router by entyering the IP address 192.168.1.1.
>Now you need to click on (Administration)
>Click (Firmware Upgrade)>>Click (choose file).
>Now select the latest firmware>>Click upload.
> now start the firmware installation.
