how to connect my belkin n300 to my network







To connect my belkin n300 to network. Plug in your extender in the wall socket close to your router. (Maximum distance can be 10 feets). Go to  your computer and attach the Belkin Wirelessly or with a ethernet cable. Open  any browser and at the top on the URL bar type in 192.168.1.206. It will open the Belkin setup dashboard page. Just click on start follow the instructions and it will do the setup of belkin.

IN ORDER TO SETUP THE BELKIN RANGE EXTENDER WE HAVE TO FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING STEPS
BRING YOUR RANGE EXTENDER NEAR TO THE ROUTER AND WE HAVE TO PLUG THE RANGE EXTENDER ON THE SOCKET
CONNECT YOUR COMPUTER WITH THE HELP OF A WIRE AND WIRELESS
PULL UP A BROWSER AT THE VERY TOP OF THE BROWSER THERE IS A LONG ADDRESS BAR AND WE HAVE TO TYPE THE IP ADDRESS OF THE BELKIN RANGE EXTENDER 192.168.206.1

In order to set up your Belkin range extender please follow the instructions below:
- Plug in your extender to any nearby power socket close to your router
- Connect your computer to the Belkin Wirelessly
- Pull up a browser and at the top on the address bar type in 192.168.1.206
- You will get to the Belkin setup dashboard
- Click on start follow the instructions and you should be could.

First plugged in your extender in the wall so in the socket and but make sure that you plugged in your extender with the range of your wireless router.
Locate and click on the Belkin setup over their and click on it.
After that open the browser you are using and type over their "http://belkin.range" in the long address bar in the browser.
And then click on the startup option over their.
Select the wireless network which you want to extend and once it is done then click on the "NEXT" option over their.
And after that you need to put the password on the wireless network which you want to extend and click n the "next".
Tap on the edit option over their when you want to save the changes.
>After that click on the extended network which you want to proceed.

- Using your Wi-Fi-capable device, locate and connect to the Belkin.setup network. Wait for your device to connect to the Belkin.setup network before proceeding to the next step.
- Launch a browser and enter "http://belkin.range" in the Address bar then tap Go.
- On the page that opens, tap on Get Started. It will search for your router's SSID.
-  Select the wireless network you want to extend. Tap Next once done. Wait for the   setup to connect to the network.
- Your extender is now configured. Â You will see your network settings on the screen, and you will have the option to print the information when needed.
