unable to connect my linksys e2500 to wireless network
To connect linksys e2500 extender to the network connect linksys to the wall socket and press reset key for 30 seconds. Make sure extender is close to the modem(maximum distance not more then 10 feet) Go to your computer or phone and open browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the top url bar. It will ask for your login information (default username and password is admin for both). Then it will open setup page. Just follow the instructions and your extender will get connect to the internet.
IN ORDER TO CONNECT OUR LINKSYS ROUTER E2500 TO THE INTERNET WE HAVE TO FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING STEPS
FIRST OF ALL CONNECT YOUR ROUTER TO THE POWER
THEN CONNECT YOUR ROUTER WITH THE COMPUTER BY ETHERNET OR WIRELESS
PULL UP A BROWSER IN THE COMPUTER AND AT THE VERY TOP OF THE BROWSER WE HAVE TO TYPE THERE 192.168.1.1 AND HIT ENTER AND WE ARE ABLE TO REACHÂ ON THE SETUP PAGE
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS WHICH ARE GIVEN ON THE SETUP PAGE AND COMPLETE YOUR SET UP
In order to connect your Linksys router E2500 to the internet Please follow the instructions below:
- Connect your router to the power
- Connect your computer wireless or via ethernet cable to the Linksys router
- Pull up a browser at the top on the address bar type in 192.168.1.1 or www.linksyssmartwifi.com
- you will get to the Linksys smart wifi setup wizard
- Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the setup
Note. If in case it is still not working, then press and hold the red reset button at the back of the router for 30 seconds and then try the above steps again.
