how to change my parental control settings on my asus RT-n66u
To change my parental control settings on my asus RT-n66u. Go to your computer or phone and open browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the top url bar. It will ask for your login information (default username and password is admin for both). Then it will open setup page. Look at the left hand side click on Parental Controls and from there you can make changes.
For that we need to login into the Router's settings
and in order to login into the router settings ,we have to follow some steps:-
> connect your computer with the router's network
> open your browser and type this address:- https://router.asus.com or 192.168.1.1
> now it will take you to login page of the asus router
> enter your login information(default username and password is admin for both)
> once you are successfully logged in , From the left hand side click on Parental Controls and from there you can make changes.
In order to change the Parental controls on the router. Please follow the instructions below:
- Turn on the Asus router
- Connect your computer to the Asus router using wireless or ethernet cable
- Pull up a browser and at the top on the address bar type in 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.50.1
- You will be directed to the login screen of your ASUS RT-N66U
- The default username and password "admin"
- once you are logged in on the left panel you will see an option for parental controls
- click on it and here you can schedule everything according to you.
