Linksys extender setup re7000 .
To set up I-pas and smart TV on the extender, first we will have to be sure that extender is connected to the main router. Once you are sure then goto the settings on the I-pad , goto the wifi settings and select the extender wifi network and enter the password. While connecting to the smart TV , goto the main settings then network option. Goto the wireless and select the extender’s network. Now enter the wifi password , save it now.

Before connecting your Ipad and Smart tv, make sure your Extender configured with the main router if not then follow the steps which are shown below:-
- Turn on your Linksys Extender
- connect your computer or smartphone with the extender’s network
- Open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.1
- It will take you to the setup page, so click on the start setup option
- Now it will scan for the available wifi networks, select your main router’s network and hit next
- then enter the wifi password and hit next again
- On the next page, it will scan for the 5g, select your router’s 5g band and hit next and then enter the wifi password again(if you don’t have 5g band on your main router then you can select “I don’t need a second network” and hit next.)
- Now create your wifi information for the Linksys extender and hit next again
- After that, create a login password for the Extender
- Now register your Linksys product or you can skip that.
- Extender is configured
After that Go to the settings on your Ipad, click on the wifi settings and look for the extender's network and click on that and after that enter your wifi password.
Same goes for the Smart tv, you need to go to the main settings, click on the Network option and then wireless and choose your extender's network and enter the wifi password and then hit connect or done.
TO CONNECT YOUR APPLE IPAD AND YOUR SMART TV –
FOR APPLE IPAD –
1.GO TO SETTINGS AND ON THE TOP YOU WILL FIND WIFI SETTINGS.
2.THERE YOU WILL SEE THE NAME OF THE EXTENDER .
3.SELECT IT AND ENTER YOUR WIFI PASSWORD AND YOU WILL SEE A CHECK MARK WHICH MEANS IT IS CONNECTED.
FOR SMART TV –
1.ON THE TV REMOTE YOU WILL SEE MENU.
2.ONCE YOU GO IN THE MENU YOU WILL FIND INTERNET OR NETWORK SETTINGS.
3.THERE YOU WILL SEE WIFI NAMES WHICH ARE AVAILABLE TO CONNECT.
4.SELECT YOUR EXTENDER WIFI FROM THE LIST AND THEN ENTER YOUR PASSWORD AND YOUR TV WILL BE CONNECTED.
For IPAD you need to follow these steps-
-Press Home button > Look for settings > Select wireless or wifi > Choose your extender network >Insert your password > Hit Join or connect .
Your are connected now with your extender .
For SmartTV
It all depends on different make and model but i can provide you the universal and common steps through which you can setup your TV-
-Grab your remote and press menu button on it.
-Look for Network setting in it or Wireless setting.
-Select any of them available .
-You’ll find wireless setup wizard or Wifi Protected setup.
-Choose any of them and follow the instructions on your TV .
