How to configure tplink extender through smartphone?
Some steps you need to follow in order to setup your tp-link extender :-
* Plug your extender to the direct wall socket within 10 feet of your router.
* Once the lights starts blinking, connect to it with your phone
* Once connected open IP of your extender on a browser
IP = 192.168.0.254/192.168.1.254

username = admin
password = admin/password
* You will be directed to the setup page
* Now click on scan
* Select your primary network
click on next
* You can assign a name and password of your choice to your network
Follow simple steps > once light is solid > it is configured
In order to set up a Tplink extender using a smartphone follow the instructions below :
Make sure the extender is powered ON
Go into the wireless settings on your smartphone and then look for the default SSID for your Tplink extender
Connect your phone to the default SSID of your Tplink Extender
Once Connected, Pull up yourย Browser on your phone and then at the top on the address bar type in 192.168.0.254 and hit enter
You will be directed to the Tplink extender Setup screen
Follow the instructions given on the screen and set up the extender.
>Turn On your Extender
> Now connect your smartphone with the extender's network
> open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.206.1
> It will take you to the belkin page
> now click on get started
> it will scan for the available networks
> select your existing wifi network that you want to extend
> Enter the wifi password for your existing network
> Now it will connect to your existing network
> After that it will show you your new extended network details
> Hit next
> And it will save the settings
> Extender is configured now, you can connect your wireless devices with the new extender's network
>Turn On your Extender
> Now connect your smartphone with the extender's network
> open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.206.1
> It will take you to the belkin page

> select your existing wifi network that you want to extend
> Enter the wifi password for your existing network
> Now it will connect to your existing network
> After that it will show you your new extended network details
> Hit next
> And it will save the settings
> Extender is configured now, you can connect your wireless devices with the new extender's network
To setup Tplink range extender follow these steps:-
>Plugin the range extender into the wall socket near to your home router for the initial setup.
*If you made any change on the extender before, then reset the extender by pressing reset button for at least 20 seconds.
>Connect your Smartphone with tplink extender wireless network.
>Open any browser and in the address bar type 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.0.254 or http://tplinkrepeater.net
>Now you will see the setup wizard in the page, follow the instructions to setup the range extender
>If you want you can change the name of extended network and password of your choice that you want for it.
>Now save the settings and range extender will reboot after saving the settings.
>Once extender lights get solid connect your devices to the extended network and try to go online so that we can check that extender setup done successfully.
