how to setup TL-WA855RE tp link extender



>Turn On your extender
> Connect your computer or smartphone with the extender's network
> Now open your web browser and type this address:- https://tplinkrepeater.net or 192.168.0.254 or 192.168.1.254
> Click on start
> now it will scan for the available networks
> select your wifi network that you want to extend and then enter the same password for that network that you were using
> after that it will connect to your network
> Now it will show you your extended network name (Note:-make a little bit change in the network name)
> save the settings
or
you can also configure it through wps method:-
press and hold the wps button from your extender for at least 3 seconds and then within 2 minutes press and hold the wps button from your main router for at least 3 seconds.

Some steps you need to follow in order to connect your TL-WA855RE :
> Plug your TP-Link extender into a wall outlet.
> Connect it to your computer with an Ethernet cable.

* check your wifi list and connect to it.
ONCE CONNECTED
> Open a browser on and navigate to http://tplinkrepeater.net. If that doesn’t work, try typing = 192.168.0.254(extenders IP)
> Select Quick Setup and Next.
> Select your region and Next.
> Let the TP-Link extender scan for wireless networks. It might take a minute or two.
> Select your wireless network from the list that is generated and select Next.
> Enter the wireless password when prompted.
Select ‘Copy from main router’ if you want a single larger wireless network or ‘Customize’ if you want to create a different network.
Select Next.
> Review the network settings in the final window.
> Select Finish if all correct.
