username password not working for belkin n600

The easiest way to get the default username and password back is to reset the entire router back to its factory default settings
Steps you need to follow:
1. Make sure extender is plugged in properly.
2. Press the reset button using a reset tool at least for 30 sec.(while its plugged in)
3. Once all lights are blinking for once
4. Go to your device
> Check on the wifi list whether it has an exclamation ( ! )mark or not
> If it does have it try connect to it
> Once connected
5. Now open any web browser and you will be directed to the setup page.
if not type in the IP of extender
IP = 192.168.206.1
6. Once you are in the page you can assign a new username and password for your n600 extender.
