how to do proper reset of Linksys Router ?

To Reset Linksys Router you need to follow these steps.:
- You will see reset button at the back of the router.
- Press and hold that button for 30 seconds.
- Â And make sure your router is plugged in while you reset that.

To reset the linksys router
press and hold the reset button from the router for atleast 30 seconds
(make sure router is turned ON while you reset your router)
or
if you have access to the web interface of the router
then go to the troubleshooting tab
after that select diagnostics and under diagnostics click on restore.

Using either button will reset the router :
* Ensure your router is plugged in and turned on.
* Press and hold either the reset button on the bottom for about 15 seconds. You can stop pressing when the power light indicator flashes.
