how do I connect my extender to wifi
For setting up extender , please follow these steps :
1. Connect your range extender to your computer with the help of Ethernet cable.
2. Connect your range extender to the power source. Make sure the LED lights are stable.
3. Launch your web browser(Google chrome or Mozilla firefox or whatever you are using ) and enter your router's IP Address or "192.168.1.1" in the Address bar.
4.On the screen you will get a window asking for a username and password. Leave the User Name blank and enter “admin” in the Password field and then, click Log In
5. Click on “Wireless” and then click on “Basic Wireless Settings”.
6. Set the radio button to Manual then enter your router’s Network Name (SSID).
7. On the Wireless Security section, select the security settings that match your router’s configuration. Enter your Passphrase or WEP Key then click Save Settings.
8. Unplug the power cables of the router and the range extender for 30 seconds. Plug in the router first. Wait for all the lights to be stable then plug in the range extender.
Your range extender should now be in synchronized with your router.
First of all, turn On your extender
> after that press and hold the wps from the extender for atleast 3 seconds and then within 2 minutes press and hold the wps button from your router for atleast 3 seconds
and then wait for the extender to reboot and once the extender rebooted successfully after that extender is ready to use.

we can configure the extender through the computer
>for that we need to connect our computer with the extender's wifi network
>then open the web browser and type this following address:- 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.1.240 or 192.168.206.1
(ip address depends upon the brand of your extender)
>after that if it asks for login username or password then default one is "admin"(without quotes)
>then follow the instructions and complete the setup process.
