1. Blinking Blue – range extender is starting up.
2.Solid Blue – Your device is connected to the available Wi-Fi network.
3. Solid Amber – connected to the Wi-Fi network but is getting a weak signal.
NOTE: If the wireless signal is weak then it may lead to performance problems and hence it is recommended by experts to move the Belkin Wireless Range Extender closer to the wireless router.
4. Blinking Amber – range extender is not connected to a Wi-Fi network.
NOTE: Reaffirm that your wireless router is functioning properly if not then move the Belkin Wireless Range extender near to your router.
5.Alternating Blue/Amber – range extender is ready to be setup.
The Linksys RE6800 Range Extender has a LED on the front panel that gives you information about the device’s operation or behavior. If the light is Blinking Green the the extender is starting up, Resetting to factory defaults or Upgrading the firmware. If it is solid green then it is Solid Green the extender is ready to use. If it is solid orange it has a weak connection to the router and if it is Blinking Orange it is not connected to the router.
