How to setup Belkin Extender?
Follow these steps to setup Belkin extender :
1: Plug in your range extender into a power outlet that is within the range of your router’s wireless network.
2: Using your Wi-Fi-capable device, locate and connect to the Belkin.setup network.
3: Launch a browser and enter “http://belkin.range” in the Address bar click on search.
4: On the page that opens, tap on Get Started. It will search for your router’s SSID.
5: Select the wireless network you want to extend. Tap Next once done
6: When prompted, enter your wireless network’s password then tap Next.
7: If you have a dual-band network, select the second wireless network you want to extend then repeat Step 6. Tap Next once done. 8: Review the Extended Network information. Tap Edit if the information needs to be changed. Otherwise, tap the Create Extended Network button to proceed with the setup.
Your extender is now configured. You will see your network settings on the screen.
In this case, you need to follow below-mentioned steps-
>first of all if you made any changes on it you need to reset your Belkin F9K1122 Range Extender by pressing the Reset button for 30 seconds(while it’s powered on).
>Once the Extender lights stop flashing then you can easily reconfigure it simply by performing WPS Method on it.
> To do WPS process you need to press the WPS button of your home router for 3 seconds and then within 1 minute, you need to press the same WPS button of your Belkin Extender for 3 seconds.
> Once you find that the lights of the extender are solid/stable, you can connect to its network using the router’s WiFi password with any of your wireless devices and then try to go online so that you come to know its working fine.
