How do i connect my linksys extender 6300 with my tp-link router . its near about 50 feet away and there is no signal

Setting up the Linksys RE6300 AC750 BOOST Wi-Fi Range Extender is easy with its browser-based setup feature. There’s no need for an installation software or setup CD.
Before you start the setup process, ensure the following:
An active Wi-Fi connection.
Your Wi-Fi name (SSID) and Wi-Fi password / security key.

The Linksys RE6300 should be plugged into a power outlet. Wait until the light is blinking orange before starting the setup process.
Follow the steps below to set up your range extender.
Step 1:
Using a computer or a mobile device, connect your device to the range extender’s default SSID, which is Linksys Extender Setup – xxx.
Step 2:
Open a web browser, then enter “http://extender.linksys.com” or “192.168.1.1” in the Address bar.
Click (START SETUP)
Step 3:
The As a wireless range extender option will be selected by default upon setting up. Click Next.
Step 5:
Select your Wi-Fi.
Step 6:
Enter your Wi-Fi password in the field, then click Next.
You will be prompted to configure the extended wireless network that the range extender will be broadcasting. Change the settings as you prefer or leave the defaults as is, then click (NEXT)
Step 8:
Click Next if the Spot Finder indicates that the Linksys RE6300’s location is Just right. This feature determines the signal strength between your range extender and your router. If your range extender is Too far or Too close, relocate it accordingly,
Step 9:
Create an admin password to secure your Linksys RE6300. Optionally, you may also add a password hint
Step 10:
Click (SAVE)
You should now have set up your Linksys RE6300.

First we need to bring the extender close to the router (within 12 feet range).
Then try to configure it and move it to the desired location.
If you still don’t get the signal, make sure you choose a spot where it would receive atleast 50% of the signals from the router.
It will be up and running.
