To block Ads on your browser you can just simply download Ublock and add that in your extension and you will see changes in few seconds.

There are the numbers of ad blocking extensions for the browsers that you can install to block all kind of ads, like Ublock Origin, Ad Blocker etc.
i am giving you info about google chrome browser.
1.Select Settings from the Chrome menu.
2.Typing in Popups
3.Click the Content Settings button.
4.Click Pop-ups.
5.Toggle the Pop-ups option to Blocked or delete exceptions.
