if the router is not working then you can reboot the router first and if still not working then you can reset the router and then configure it

To fix this issue please follow the instructions below:
> Make sure the router should be plugged in directly to the Wall outlet, not to a power surge protector
> Reset the Router and reconfigure it
> Set the channels to manual 1, 6 or 11
The router Wireless should work.
Make Sure your firmware is upto date and if it’s not try to update firmware or try to reboot the router.
You can follow these steps to setup your arris sbg6400 router:-
>Press the reset button of the router for 30 seconds while it’s powered on.
>Now you need to wait for the router lights to get stable.
>Once the lights get stable connect any one of your wireless or wired devices with your router and do the setup process again by following the instructions given in steps.
>After completion of setup reboot your router and then after the lights get stable try to go online so that we come to know router setup done correctly.
