IN ORDER TO SETUP THE DLINK RANGE EXTENDER WE HAVE TO FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING STEPS WHICH ARE AS UNDER
PLUG THE RANGE EXTENDER ON THE WALL SOCKET NEAR TO THE ROUTER
PRESS THE WPS BUTTON ON THE RANGE EXTENDER FOR 3 SECONDS AND THEN RELEASE
PRESS THE WPS BUTTON ON THE ROUTER AND THEN RELEASE ( WE CAN DO IT BY ACCESSING ON THE ROUTER LOGIN PAGE )
HENCE IN THIS WAY THE EXTENDER WILL BE CONNECTED TO THE ROUTER NETWORK
YOU CAN SEE THE NETWORK NAME WITH EXT AFFIXED IN IT
IT WILL OPEN A SETUP WIZARD FOR YOU
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE SCREEN
HENCE IN THIS WAY WE CAN ABLE TO SET UP THE RANGE EXTENDER

To setup dlink range extender follow these steps:-
>Plugin the dlink range extender near to your home router for the initial setup.
*If you made any change on the extender before, then reset the extender by pressing reset button for at least 20 seconds.
>Connect any of your wireless device with dlink extender network.
>Open any browser and in the address bar type 192.168.0.50 or http://dlinkap.local
>Now you will see the setup wizard on the page, click on it and after that follow the instructions.
>From the list select network that you want to extend and then enter password for the same.
>In the next step if you want you can change the name of extended network and password of your choice that you want for it.
>Now save the settings and wait for the lights to get stable.
>Once extender lights get solid connect your devices to the extended network and try to go online so that we can check that extender setup done successfully.
To set up extender kindly follow these steps:-
1. connect your extender in a direct wall socket near by your router for setup.
2. press wps button on your extender for 3-5 seconds.
3. press wps button on your router (you can do it by accessing router main page also).
4. it will be connected to your routers network.
5. you will see your network name with ext affixed in it.
6. connect to the same network .
7. it will open a setup wizard for you.
8. follow the on screen instructions and you are good to go now.
