If you are not able to connect your Dlink router please follow the instructions below:
> Reset the router by pressing the reset button on the back of the Dlink router for 30 seconds
> Once the reset is done all you need to do is wait until the router is On and steady
> Connect your computer wireless or via Ethernet cable
> pull up a browser and at the very top on the address bar type in 192.168.0.1 and hit enter
> you will get to the setup page
In this case either you can change the IP of your modem router by logging into it .
Or you can connect your router and modem with internet cable and then connect one cable from Ethernet ports of your router to computer.
Your router will get the different IP automatically.
Open the IP you are receiving there in the browser and it will take you directly to the set up page .
You can follow the wizard instructions and complete it.
