WPS (Wireless Protected Setup) is a very easy and simple process to connect your Tplink extender or any other device with the router or any network without doing any manual configuration, in this method there is no need of wires as well.
*WPS will only work if your both the devices support the method or having this feature.
Wps helps in connecting two devices by just pressing the buttons on router and on that device at the same time .
It will take 1- 2 minutes and set up a wireless communication b/w them without entering the password.
You can do in either ways of push button and pin method according to the device you are trying to connect.
It is a wireless network security standard that tries to make connections between a router and wireless devices faster and easier. WPS works only for wireless networks that use a password that is encrypted with the WPA Personal or WPA2 Personal security protocol and it the wireless device has to be at least 10 feets from the router or the extender.
