Leo please help me with my Dlink DIR655 Router

• Hey Laurel,

  – You need to disconnect all the ethernet cables from the Dlink DIR655 Router.
  – Power cycle(Turn off and Turn it back on) your Modem.
  – Press the reset button on your Dlink DIR655 For 15 seconds.
  – Wait until you see solid Blue power Light.
  – Now connect the ethernet cable from modem to Dlink DIR655 grey internet port.
  – Use another ethernet cable from Dlink DIR655 blue LAN port to your PC.
  – Visit https://192.168.0.1
  – Leave password field blank and hit login.
  – Hit internet setup wizard.
  – Your connection type is Dynamic.
  – Hit next.
  – Leave everything else blank and complete the setup.
  – Now under Setup tab select wireless.
  – Change the name and make sure you click manually add a password.
  – Save all the settings and select Reboot Now.
  – Connect your devices again to your network.

• TO SETUP YOUR DLINK DIR 880L YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THESE STEPS:-
  1. PLUG YOUR ROUTER TO A WALL SOCKET.
  2. CONNECT AN ETHERNET CABLE FROM YOUR MODEM TO INTERNET PORT OF YOUR ROUTER.
  3. CONNECT AN ETHERNET CABLE FROM PORT NO 4 TO YOUR COMPUTER.
  4. CHECK YOUR NETWORK STATISTICS BY DOING IPCONFIG ON CMD WINDOW.
  5. OPEN A BROWSER TYPE YOUR DEFAULT GATEWAY IN ADDRESS BAR HIT ENTERS.
  6. IT WILL GIVE YOU A SETUP WIZARD YOU NEED T0 FOLLOW THE STEPS AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO NOW.
