RED LIGHT ON THE RANGE EXTENDER STANDS FOR THE FOLLOWING THINGS
IT MEANS THE FIRM WARE IS CORRUPTED
WEAK CONNECTION BETWEEN THE RANGE EXTENDER AND THE ROUTER

Red power LED
– Bad power connection.
– Firmware corrupt.
Solution
– Press the reset button for 10 seconds.
– Change the power socket.
– Don’t Use extension or surge protector.
Red WiFi LED
– Poor Connection with Host.
Solution
– Move your extender closer to your Host router.

the red light on the extender comes due to some of the following resons:
> poor connectivity between extender and Access point or router
> Firmware has been currupted
> The firmware setup failed and has no internet

Solutions:
plug in your extender a bit closer to the router maybe by 25 – 30 feets
reset the extender and re setup the extender
try to reconnect the extender again using WPS
