  • – You can check for a firmware update on your router.
    – Try changing the channels for both 2.4 and 5Ghz. ( 2.4Ghz= 1,6,11 / 5Ghz=153)
    – Move your router or adjust the antennas.
    – Power cycle your modem and router.
    – You can also reset the router and setup it again.

  • You need to check the speed you are receiving directly from modem at your place.
    If you are using old modem so its recommended to replace it with new one with optical fibre cables connected to it.
    You can also check out for new firmware version available for your router.
    You can try to power cycle all the devices once and sometimes this may also resolves intermittent connection issues.

  • In order to fix the Slowness issue with your Tplink router follow the instructions below:
    > Login into your Router Dashboard
    > See if you have any latest firmware update available if YES do it
    > Clone the MAC address of the computer on the router
    > Disable the Wireless protected setup (WPS) on the router
    > Check the cable between the modem and the router and see if there are any cracks on the cable if yes change the cable
    > Reset the router and re-setup the router
    > Power cycle the modem and the router means turn off the modem and the router for 10 minutes and then turn them back on again
