First, check the attachment for cable connections for NETGEAR router and D2200 modem.
1.Always use Wall power socket.No extension or Surge protector.
2.Once you got all connection good open your browser.
3.Type in address http://routerlogin.net / 192.168.1.1 .
4.Netgear genie will appear.
5.Select “Help me Choose”.
6.Wizard will configure your router.
7.After setup is done you can remove the cable from the computer .
In order to connect your R6300 Netgear Router with your D2200 Modem please follow the instructions below:
> Connect a cable from the LAN port of your D2200 modem and connect another end to the internet port on the netgear router.
> Connect your computer Wireless or via ethernet cable on the router
> Pull up browser and at the very top on the address bar type in 192.168.1.1 or https://www.routerlogin.com
> you will get to the Netgear genie setup wizard click next. Select “help me choose” hit next
> It will automatically complete the setup save the settings reboot the router and wait 20 minutes
