WE CAN SECURE OUR NETWORK BY FOLLOWING THE FOLLOWING STEPS

BY CHANGE YOUR ROUTER USERNAME AND PASSWORD

DISABLE DHCP

CHANGE THE NETWORK NAME

UPDATE ROUTERS FIRMWARE

  • Follow these steps;;
    By changing the username and password.
    Change the network name.
    activate encryption
    Activate the firewall.
    Turn off guest networks and wps
    Update the firmwrae of your router.

  • In order to secure your Network please follow the instructions below:
    > Connect your computer to the Router wireless or via hard wire
    > pull up a browser and at the top on the address bar type in default Ip for your address
    > Default Username and password
    > Click on Wireless settings and then got to wireless security
    > Enter you password and change the security mode to WPA2 AES
    > Save the settings and Reboot the router’
    > Your router is Secure Now.

  • To secure your network kindly follow these steps:-
    1.Change Your Router Admin Username and Password.
    2.Change the Network Name.
    3.Activate Encryption.
    4.Double Up on Firewalls.
    5.Turn Off Guest Networks.
    6.Update Router Firmware.
    7.Turn Off WPS.
    8.Disable DHCP.
    9.Filter on MAC Addresses.
