how do i Update the firmware for my ASUS Router RT-AC68P

In order to update the firmware of the router :
* You need to make sure that the router is connected with the computer wireless or via Ethernet cable
* Pull up a Browser and at the very top on the address bar type in 192.168.1.1 and hit enter
* You will see the login screen / Username: admin, Password: admin Or if you have created a password during setup put that in.
* Go to system tools> Router update> Check for update> Install update
Wait for at least 3 Minutes after the update is installed
To update the firmware of your Asus router you need to follow these steps:-
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password .
6. now you are on router main page .
7. you need to go to System tools then router update and then check for update.
8. click on update it will take 2-3 minutes and it will reboot your router automatically after
updation.
now your firmware of router has been successfully updated.
