The Linksys Connect software will prompt you for any software or firmware updates automatically once it detects a newer version.
So you can update if any new software is available.
It will disable the pop up automatically.
Second option is you can unchecked the automatic software update box so that you will not receive any firmware updates.
When a new firmware update becomes available for Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers, Linksys Connect may notify the user through pop-ups. You may disable these pop-ups using the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router’s web-based setup page. On the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router’s web-based setup page, click on the Administration tab > Firmware Upgrade > uncheck the Upgrade Automatically option.

Linksys connect is the application installed on your pc.
– Press Windows Key on the keyboard and start typing ( Notification settings )
– Choose Notification & action centre.
– Here control notification pop-ups as required.
