1.Turn off your router,modem and computer.
2.Connect your modem to the WAN port of the TP-Link router via an Ethernet cable;connect the main computer to TP-Link router’s LAN port via an Ethernet cable.
3.Power on your router first, then the modem and computer.
4 – Log into the router’s web-based utility
5 – Configure WAN Connection Type
6 – After log into the router, click Network > WAN on the menu: Select Dynamic IP as the WAN Connection Type on the right of the web page, shown as below. Then click Save button.
7 – Wait for a few minutes and check the WAN part on the Status page, if it shows any IP address (similar as below), that means the connection between the Router and the Modem is established.
8 – Click Network->MAC Clone, Click Clone MAC Address, then click Save.
9 – If there is still no wan IP address, please restart your cable modem, wait for about 10 seconds, and then restart your router. After the restarting process, you should get Wan IP address and Internet access.
10 – Your device is configured and you are good to go

To setup your Tp link router kindly follow these steps:-
You need to plug in a cable from your existing modem to internet port of your router.
after connecting this cable connect a cable from port no-4 of your router to your computer. then follow these steps:
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password .
6. that will open a setup wizard for you so follow the steps and you are good to go.
7. while following the setup wizard kindly make sure the settings you are choosing is correct
i.e time zone and wireless network name and key.
8. kindly upgrade the router firmware as well if there is any update pending over there.
if problem still persists you can reset your router and follow the same steps.
