  • If you are unable to log into router page through ip address and web interface than we need to reset the router..
    Use a paper clip or any sharp object press and hold down the reset button until power light starts blinking once power light starts blinking you can remove the clip.
    wait till the power light turns solid than connect the ethernet cable from modem to the internet port on the router which is located the the back of your router.
    Now connect your computer with router hard wired or wireless
    Launch any internet browser using interface http://www.routerlogin.net
    it will bring up the router setup page with instructions
    Follow the instructions and configure your router settings.

  • If you are not able to access routerlogin page then try redirecting it through IP address.
    -Open command prompt and type in IPCONFIG and hit enter.
    -Check the default gateway for your router.
    -Open that IP address in your browser.
    -Login into your router using administrator password.
    If you are not able to access then try reset for the router and setup it again.

  • 1. Try putting the username and password you remember last
    2. If this doesn’t work then try to reset the router and it will bring the settings down to default values
    3. Setup the router again and choose the password and make sure you remember the password so that if in future you have to login again you should have the credentials.

  • As you have mentioned that there are some issues while logging into router’s main page kindly reset your router and re setup the device again.
    To setup your Netgear c3700 router you need to follow these steps:-
    You need to plug in a cable from your existing modem to internet port of your router.
    after connecting this cable connect a cable from port no-4 of your router to your computer. then follow these steps:
    1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
    2. Type CMD in the run box.
    3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
    4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
    5. Type your user name and password .now it will be (username-admin, password-password)
    6. that will open a setup wizard for you so follow the steps while following the steps it will ask you
    to change admin credentials so set that as per your choice.
    7. while following the setup wizard kindly make sure the settings you are choosing is correct
    i.e time zone and wireless network name and key.
    8. kindly upgrade the router firmware as well if there is any update pending over there.

  • Well here you can HARD reset your router by locating the reset pin hole/button on the back of your router.
    You need to hold the reset pin in the hole for 20 seconds while it is connected to the wall, 20 seconds when it is unplugeed from the wall and connect it back again and once you will see the lights coming back on on your router then you can release the paper clip/button out from it.
    Once all the lights are ready to go then try to login to your router again, it will work for you.
