Before proceeding for further troubleshooting steps you need to power cycle the router first,
If your router plugged into a surge protector unplug it from there and plug it into wall socket.
Once its plugged into wall socket and power turn solid or it still blinking we need to reset the rotuer
At the back of your router there would be a reset button.
Use a paperclip or sharp object
Press and hold the reset button for 45 seconds, after 45 seconds you can release the clip
Wait your router will reboot
Once power light turns solid connect one ethernet cable from modem to internet port on router which must be located at the back.

As You have mentioned that power light of your Linksys AC 1200 keeps blinking there might be several reasons for that, kindly follow these steps:-
1. your Router should be directly plugged in to a wall socket.(don’t use surge protector or extention cord).
2.Power cycle your router and modem as well.
3.if problem still persists reset your router with the help of a paper clip and wait for at least 2-3 minutes and reconfigure your router with fresh settings.
4.kindly check for the firmware status it might be corrupted that can be the reason behind the blinking power light.

1.Powercycle the router : This is the quickest and easiest workaround for any issues on your router and it might just solve the problem at this point. To do this, unplug the power cord of your router from the power outlet for 30 seconds then plug it back in. You can also unplug the power cord, Internet, and Ethernet cables from its ports and plug it back. Connect the power cord to the power outlet.
2.Assign a static IP Address to your computer : Since the router loses the ability to assign IP Addresses to the computers connected to it, you need to assign the computer a static IP Address. After assigning a static IP Address, check the computer’s connectivity to the router through a Ping test.
NOTE: If you get a public IP Address, your computer might be connected directly to your Internet Service Provider’s (ISP’s) modem. To change to 192.168.1.1, make sure your computer is directly connected only to the router.
3.Ping the router : A Ping test helps trace the communication between the computer and the router. The computer sends packets to the router and in return the router sends out replies to validate the connection.
4.Reset the router
5.Update / Re-flash the firmware
