To setup parental controls of Netgear R 7800 you need to follow these steps:-
first you need to make sure that your device should be connected to the above mentioned router.then follow these steps:-
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password .
6. now you are on router main page with all settings options.
7. now Go to Parental Controls Then Parental Controls window will appear. Click Next to proceed
with the setup.
8.The Setting up Live Parental Controls screen displays. Select Yes if you have an OpenDNS
account. If you do not have one, click No, I need to create a free OpenDNS account.Click Next.
9.Select the filtering level and click Next. and setup the parental controls as per your choice.

To set up Parental Controls:
1.Launch a web browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to the network.
2.Enter http://www.routerlogin.net. A login window opens.
3.Enter the router user name and password.The user name is admin.
The default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive.The BASIC Home page displays.
4.Select Parental Controls.The Live Parental Controls website opens.
5.Click the button for the app or version that you want to download and use.
6.Follow the onscreen instructions to download and install the genie app.
7.Open the genie app and select Parental Controls.After installation, Live Parental Controls automatically starts.

You need to login into your router first –
1.On router dashboard look for Parental control and tap on it.
2.Hit next and select No, I need to create a free OpenDNS account.
3.Create An open DNS account .
4.Choose the filtering level .
5.You will be redirected to https://netgear.opendns.com. Click Add a bypass account.
6.You need to install the NETGEAR genie on each computer, iPhone, iPad, or Android device that you want to use the Bypass account.
7.Now set filtering level for bypass account.
8.Now you can add time ,device ,websites for blocking access .
Use a computer that is connected to your NETGEAR router.
Open the NETGEAR genie page.
Click Parental Controls.
The Parental Controls window will appear.
The Setting up Live Parental Controls screen displays.
Select Yes if you have an OpenDNS account.

Click Next.
Complete the OpenDNS information for your account and click Next
Select the filtering level and click Next.
