i want to setup my router.please help me with that..

To setup your Netgear r6700 v2 router you need to follow these steps:-
You need to plug in a cable from your existing modem to internet port of your router.
after connecting this cable connect a cable from port no-4 of your router to your computer. then follow these steps:
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password .
6. that will open a setup wizard for you so follow the steps and you are good to go.
7. while following the setup wizard kindly make sure the settings you are choosing is correct
i.e time zone and wireless network name and key.
8. kindly upgrade the router firmware as well if there is any update pending over there.
if problem still persists you can reset your router and follow the same steps.

Steps to configure router :-
:-Connect one end of the yellow Ethernet cable to your modem and the other end to the Internet port on your router.
:-Plug in and turn on your modem.
:-Connect your computer to the router .
:-Open any internet browser
:-If the webpage is not display close and reopen the browser then enter
http://www.routerlogin.net
:-Once setup wizard is open follow the instruction
:-Once its done router will save the settings.
:-Now you can connect your devices with router
Steps you need to follow for setup-
1.Connect the router power directly in wall socket.
2.Take a ethernet cable and connect modem with router.(Router’s WAN PORT)
3.Take another ethernet cable connect it with router’s LAN port to computer.
4.Open your browser or else setup wizard will appear on the browser itself.
5.In your browser type http://routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1.
6.Setup wizard will appear use default login(username-admin/password-password)
7.Setup will start and select – ‘Help me choose’.
8.Wizard will auto detect all the settings and configure it for you.
