WiOn switches do connect to the 2.4GHz network band of your home wifi router. Since they don’t require much bandwidth and don’t put so much load on the wireless channel, using the 2.4GHz only would do the job for you. Information about whether or not it supports the 5GHz channel is unavailable for now. We tried looking that up on the internet, but its nothing more than wifi router support that it says. So for now, we can assume it works. You can try connecting to the 5GHz band manually if you want.
