It can be anything as it will be assigned by the router after the installation of the extender.

IP address can be anything as it will be assigned by the router after the installation of the extender.
For example:- If your main router's default gateway is 192.168.0.1 then your extender's IP address will be 192.168.0.X((x will be from 2 to 254), depending upon the router's DHCP range).
