To install your router:-
1. Power on your new router.
2. Connect the Internet cable from your modem to the yellow Internet port
on your router. Wait until the power light on the front of the router is
solid.
3.Connect your computer to router
4. Open a web browser and follow the instructions to complete your
router’s setup. If instructions do not appear in the web browser, enter
linksyssmartwifi.com in the browser’s address bar.
5. At the end of setup, follow the on-screen instructions to set up your
Linksys Smart Wi-Fi account. Use Linksys Smart Wi-Fi to easily manage
your router’s settings, such as:
• Change your router’s name and password
• Set up guest access
• Configure parental controls
• Connect devices to your network
• Test your Internet connection speed
If problem is still persist dial 1-800-603-4024 and get additional help from expertise..
First thing you need to reset the router –
1.Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds and release it.
2.Wait for atleast 1-2 minutes .
3.Then simply plug ethernet cable from modem to router’s Wan port.Another cable from Router’s Lan port to computer.
4.Open your browser and type in the address bar -http://linksyssmartwifi.com or 192.168.1.1 .
5.Login with default access router password .Check on the bottom of the router.
6.Setup wizard will start just follow the steps to complete the setup.
7.Once the setup is complete you can remove the ethernet cable from the computer.
To setup your Linksys AC1750 router you need to follow these steps:-
You need to plug in a cable from your existing modem to internet port of your router.
after connecting this cable connect a cable from port no-4 of your router to your computer. then follow these steps:
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password .
6. that will open a setup wizard for you so follow the steps and you are good to go.
7. while following the setup wizard kindly make sure the settings you are choosing is correct
i.e time zone and wireless network name and key.
8. kindly upgrade the router firmware as well if there is any update pending over there.
if problem still persists you can reset your router and follow the same steps.
