How to change the default IP address of the Linksys router ?

1. follow these steps
2. Login into your Linksys router settings and for that on your computer, open your web browser and type this ip address:- 192.168.1.1
3. it will take you to the router’s setup page, enter your router password
4. once you are logged in, then go to the connectivity tab
5. And then click on the local network
6. Next to the router’s details, click on the Edit and then you can the default Ip address of your router.

connect any laptop or computer with the Linksys network and then open the browser

now in the long address bar of your browser type the IP address 192.168.1.1

it will open the login page, fill in the long information then click on login.

Once you are logged in you will see the connectivity tab, click on that from there click on network, next from the router details click on edit. there is the option to change the default IP address

1. Enter the Network password. The “Enter Network Password” window will appear .
2. Type in open DNS addressin static DNS 1 and static DNS 2 fields .
3. Click on Save Setting button .

In this case you need to login into your linksys router with the help of ip address 192.168.1.1

3.Click save setting button .

in such case you need to login your linksys router with the help of default ip address that is 192.168.1.1
