How do i reset & then reconfigure the Belkin F9K1123 Router?
- In order to do that follow these steps:
- First of all you need to press and hold the reset button for at least 30 second
- Once the reset is done after that connect your computer with the Belkin router’s network
- Now open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.2.1
- it will take you to the setup page
- Follow the instructions on the screen and complete the setup process.
- Press and hold the Reset button on your Router for at least 20 seconds and then release it and in order to reset, you will need a paper clip or a paper pin. (reset button(a red button) is at the backside of your router itself.)
- Once the reset is done after that connect your computer with the Belkin router's network
- Now open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.2.1
- it will take you to the setup page
- Follow the instructions on the screen and complete the setup process.
To reset and then reconfigure the Belkin F9K1123 Router , first plug in the router to the power.Once it's plugged in , then after 2 minutes , press and hold the reset button on the back of the router for 30 seconds.You will see that lights are going ON and OFF and then flash on the router.Wait until the lights on the router are not solid.Once it's solid , connect an ethernet cable from the LAN port of a modem to INTERNET port of the router. Now connect the computer to the belkin with WiFi or ethernet cable.Now open 192.168.2.1 on the browser of the computer. You will see the setup wizard screen . You will have to follow the instructions and finish the setup.
Make sure the Belkin F9K1123 router is powered ON and booted up, then at the back of the Belkin router you will see a reset button you need to press and hold the reset button on the router for 30 seconds, you will notice that the lights on the router will go off and On and will flash for bit, once you see a solid power light for the power, then connect a cable from your modem's LAN port to the Internet port of the router. Connect your computer to the Belkin via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Pull up a browser and at the top of the address bar type in 192.168.2.1 and hit enter. You will get to the Belkin router setup screen. follow the instructions and complete the setup.
