How to setup the Tplink CPE610 with the hotspot?

To setup the Tplink CPE610 with the hotspot , first we will have to provide a static IP address to the computer. For that goto network connection window (for that goto run box and type ncpa.cpl). Right click on LAN connection and then go to properties . Now check the box next to Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4) , then click on properties again.Now select USE THE FOLLOWING IP ADDRESS . Note the IP ADDRESS from there which would be 192.168.0.10  AND SUBNET MASK would be 255.255.255.0  and save the settings. Now we will have to connect an Ethernet cable between the PoE Adapter and the CPE610 and then connect another cable between PoE adapter(LAN Port) and the computer . Now open 192.168.0.254 on the browser . You will see the setup page coming up , enter the credentials there . On the setup page select the mode . e.g. as an access point OR repeater . Then follow the instructions there to finish the setup.

In order to setup CPE610, we need to follow some steps which are shown below:-

1. First of all, we have to provide a static Ip address to the computer and for that
   • Press window+R button
   • Now Run box will open and in that box type “ncpa.cpl” (without quotes)
   • It will open a Network Connections window
   • After that Right Click on the Ethernet(Local Area Connection) Adapter and go to the Properties option
   • Now Highlight the “Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4)” option and click on the Properties again
   • Select “use the following IP address” and type the information as shown below:-

   IPv4 Address:- 192.168.0.10

   Subnet mask:- 255.255.255.0

   And then save the settings.

2. Now connect an Ethernet cable between your PoE Adapter and the CPE610(cable should be connected to the PoE port on both the ends) and after that connect another cable between PoE adapter(LAN Port) and the computer.
3. Open your browser on the computer and type this address:- 192.168.0.254
4. it will take you to the CPE610 Pharos setup page and over there, create your login password and hit next.
5. Now Select the mode(means, if you want to set it up as a repeater then select repeater option or select Access Point if you want to configure this as an Access Point) and hit next
6. After that follow the instructions on the screen and complete the setup.
