How do i change the admin password of my Arris DG950A router?
- Connect your computer with the Arris router's network
- Open your web browser and type this address:-192.168.0.1
- It will take you to the Login page of the router
- enter your login information(default username is admin and password is password)
- Once you are logged in, then under the Basic settings
- you can change the login password(admin password)
to make any changes even to change the password for that you need to login into the device and to login you need the help of any laptop or computer connected to your router
open the browser on your device and then in the long address bar of your browser type the IP address (192.168.1.1) and it will take you to the login dashboard, over there fill in the login credentials
Once you are logged in you can make any changes you want.
To change the admin password of my Arris DG950A router , first we will have to check if the router is ON or not . Then check if the computer is connected to the router's network or not.It could be connected with either WiFi or cable.Now open the browser on the computer and type 192.168.1.1 and hit enter. Once you see the setup wizard of the Arris router, enter the credentials (Default User Name is admin and Default password is also admin).You can also try the default password given on the router. OR you can goto advanced tab and from there you can change the password.
In order to change the Admin password of your Arris DG950A router follow the instruction given below:
make sure the router is on and your computer is connected to it via ethernet or Wi-Fi. Pull up a browser and at the top of the address bar type in 192.168.1.1 and hit enter. you will get to the login screen for you arris. the default username and password is "admin". you can also check the default password on the router label in case it's not working. then go to advance tab and then click on setup password, Enter the current password then the new password and confirm the password. Save the settings and you are good to go.
