How do i setup the Linksys RE6250 range extender with the WOW modem’s wifi?

• Turn On your Extender
• connect your computer with the extender's network
• open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.1
• It will take you to the setup page, from there click on the start button
• it will search for the available wifi networks, select your modem's wifi network and hit next
• Enter your wifi password and hit next
• Now if your modem is dual wifi compatible then select the wifi network for the 5G band as well on your extender's setup page and then save the settings and if not then on the select "I don't need a second network" on the setup page.

If your modem has a WPS button then you can Setup your extender using this feature and for that you need to press and hold the WPS button on your extender for at least 3 seconds and then release it and after that within 2 minutes, press and hold the WPS button on your modem for 3 seconds and then release it. Now wait for the light to get stable on the extender and once the light is stable it means your extender is configured.

To connect Linksys Re6250 to your router, first plugin the extender into the wall socket near to your router for the initial setup and wait till the extender gets fully powered on.

Now press and hold the WPS button on the router for atleast 10 seconds and then within 1 minute press and hold the WPS button on the extender for 5 seconds.

now the WIFI lights on the extender will get solid .

Now connect any laptop or other wireless device with the extender network and then open the browser.

In the long address bar type the IP address (192.168.1.1) it will take you to the extender page over there you can put up the security password and save the settings after that.

To setup the Linksys RE6250 range extender with the WOW modem's WiFi , first plug in the extender to the power and wait for approximately 2 minutes after it's plugged in. Now press the WPS button for at least 3 seconds,you will see the flashing green light. Now you will have to press the WPS button on the modem for 3 seconds,again you will see the flashing green light on the modem.Once you see the light is solid on modem,this means it's setup now and you can try connecting the devices.

There are 2 ways to setup Linksys RE6250 range extender with WOW Modem's wifi;

Step1 :

Turn on the Linksys range extender and wait for at least 2 minutes until it boots up. then press and hold the WPS button on the extender for 3 seconds you will see a flashing green light. then press and hold the WPS button on the Wow's modem for 3 seconds and when you see the flashing green light on the extender goes to a solid green it means the setup is complete.

Step 2

turn on the range extender and connect your computer, tablet or maybe a smartphone to the Linksys extender network name and then pull up a browser and at the top of the address bar type in 192.168.1.1 and hit enter, you will be directed to Linksys extender setup screen all you have to do is follow the setup instruction on your device and complete the setup.
