How to recover or change the wifi password of Amped REC22PG range extender?

to make the changes you need to login to the dashboard of the extender. you can login by using the IP address 192.168.1.240. once you are logged in, you will be able to make any changes you want

In order to change or recover the Wi-Fi password please follow the instructions below:

Question is if the extender is already set up or we are trying to set up it for the first time.

Let's assume the extender is set up and working fine, in that case, you need to login into your router dashboard and go into the connected devices look for your amped wireless name copy the IP address and then open the amped dashboard with the IP address go into more settings and then the wireless settings and  you can recover or change the wifi name and password from there.

Let's assume this is a new setup, you need to connect your computer with the amped extender via Wi-Fi or ethernet. pull up a browser and at the top of the address bar type in 192.168.1.240 and hit enter. once you get to the setup screen follow the instructions and you can set up a new password by your self.

Just go to your computer or smart phone. Go to your browser and on the top of the screen url bar type 192.168.1.240. It will open the setup page. It will ask login information just enter username and password. It will open dashboard and you can make changes of your own choice.

• On your smartphone or computer, login into the Amped extender’s settings by using the IP address(you can find the IP address in the main router’s settings under the connected devices list)
• Once you are logged in the extender’s settings
• From the left-hand side, click on the more settings and then click on the extended network
• and from there you can change your wifi name or password for the amped extender and then hit apply after making the changes.

To recover or change the wifi password of Amped REC22PG range extender,first you have to login to the admin page of amped range extender.For that first connect any wireless device with the extender's network.Now open 192.168.1.240 on the browser.Once you are logged in to the admin page, goto the wireless settings and you will have the access to the password and also you can change it from there.After making the changes do not forget to save the changes.

If you want to change the password of the amped extender for that you need to login in the dashboard of the amped extender you can use the ip address of the extender that is 192.168.1.240

once you logged in the dashboard of the device under wireless network you can change the password of your network then save it.
