I am not seeing the 5G band of the router on the RE6300 Extender, What Should i Do?








If you can not see the 5G band of the router on the RE6300 Extender, then we can try few things e.g. >> try changing the wifi channels on the main router. >> we can try changing the wifi names for both bands >> we can also try restarting both devices ( router and extender ) >> last we can try resetting the extender.

in that case
Try to change the name of you 2.4G and the 5G WiFi bands.
Try to change the channel of your WiFi bands.

In this situation, you can try to separate the wifi name of 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz network also you can try to assign static wifi channels (for 2.4Ghz you can choose 11 and for 5Ghz you can choose 157)

- Try to change the wifi channels on the main router
- if you are using the same wifi names for both the bands on the main router then change the name for the 5G band.
- Try to restart both the devices(router and extender) and then try again.
- Try to reset the extender
