How to turn Off band steering on Linksys re9000 extender?









To turn Off band steering on Linksys re9000 extender , first we need an IP address of the extender to login to the extender . For that we need to log into the the router and get the extender IP address . Once we have the IP address , then log into the extender settings , then basic settings , then extended wireless settings , then uncheck the band steering option . Now save the settings.

- Login into the Linksys Extender Settings
- once you are logged in, Go to the basic settings
- Then Under the Extended Wireless Settings
- Uncheck the Band steering option.
- then save the settings.

Just go to the Login page of the Linksys Extender. Once you are login page , Click on the option of basic settings. Select  the Extended Wireless Settings. Just uncheck the Band steering option over there and just save the settings.

- Login into Extender Login page .
- Now choose the extended wireless settings in the basic settings.
- Â Uncheck the band steering option
- Click on save .

Steps you need to follow:
- First, login into the GUI of the Linksys.
- Now choose the extended wireless settings in the basic settings.
- Uncheck the Band steering option.
- Click on save.

- login in the linksys extender by using the ip address 192.168.1.1
- once you logged in the dashboard of the extender go to the basic setting
- then under extended wireless setting uncheck the band steering option
- then save the setting

- Login into the Linksys Extender Settings
- once you are logged in, Go to the basic settings
- Then Under the Extended Wireless Settings
- Uncheck the Band steering option.
- then save the settings.
Note:- In order to login into the extender settings, you need to find the Ip address for the extender and for that you need to login into the main router settings and under the connected devices list, you will get the Ip address for the Extender.
