How to change wifi channels in the Netgear Router?
open the browser on any computer or smartphone and in the URL bar type the IP address (192.168.1.1) it will take you to the login dashboard, fill in the login details there
Once you are logged, then on the left-hand side make a click on the wireless tab, from there you can change the channels
To change wifi channels in the Netgear Router , first you will have to connect either your computer or any smart phone with the Netgear's network. Now open 192.168.1.1 on the browser of the computer or the smart phone. Now enter the credentials (Default user name is admin and password is also admin).After you are logged in to the admin page then click on the Wireless tab on the left. You will see the options to change the channels from there.
- Connect your Desktop or Laptop with the Netgear Router Network
- Open your browser and type this address : 192.168.1.1
- Enter your login information
- Default username is : admin and password is : password
- Into the login page click on wireless tab
- From there you can change the wifi channels.
To change the wifi signals of your netgear router. Go to your computer or phone and open browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the top url bar. It will ask for your login information (default username and password is admin for both). Then it will open setup page. On the left side of the screen on the wireless tab option and form there you can easily change the wifi channels.
Steps you need to follow:
- First, open the GUI of your router.
- Click on the Wireless tab.
- From here you can change the Channels of the WiFi.
- Connect your computer or smartphone with the Netgear Router's Network
- open your browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.1
- enter your login information(default username is admin and password is the password)
- once you are logged in, then from the left-hand side
- Click on the Wireless tab
- and from there you can change the wifi channels.
- Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to your router's network.
- Enter the user name and password the user name is admin and select wireless
- From the Region menu, select your region
- Select a number from the Channel menu.
- Click the Apply button.
